We have contacted you because your details are live within our Database. This means you have been paying Tax on your energy bills, and are now entitled to certain financial assistance. This assistance is in regard to the implementation of Energy saving measures and/or micro generation payments.
What am I supposed to do now?
The first step is to ensure a communication between yourself and Saving Energy Group is initiated. When we have verified your information with us, there shall be the opportunity to arrange the installation of your Energy saving measures.
What We Do
We arrange the allocation of government grants ?
We arrange for the GDA accredited surveyor to perform a survey, to identify funded measures that are suitable for your property we will then apply 100% funding for the selected measures and organize teh installation of the measures. Unfortunately individuals are often not aware of that to which they are entitled, in addition to that which they have already paid for! Energy Saving Group ensure our customers are fully educated as to their rights, and shown how to access the necessary funding.
How do you ensure that we are treated fairly?
Saving Energy Group has a very strict code of conduct. We also operate in accordance with various Accrediting bodies such as Green deal Approved. All of our staff are also highly trained individuals within the energy sector, and focus upon impartiality at all times.
Why do you do what you do?
At Saving Energy Group, we are all committed to the reduction of Carbon emissions. This is just part of the story however, as the World Energy market is shifting dramatically and rapidly. Our reliance upon fossil fuels has locked us all into a dead end, whereby sooner or later we shall literally exhaust our power resources. At this point in time we still have the opportunity to adjust the flow. If we in the U.K can make our properties more efficient we could save £3 billion annually alone! If we in the U.K can prove that Green Energy works then the rest of the world may just follow suit...

Yes. We can most certainly fulfill our obligations to you and all of our customers. We have taken on board the responsibility of leading the way forward, and ensuring that Energy saving measures are implemented by all who qualify, without any excuses. About The Process
Why must my information/account be verified?
We at Saving Energy Group take great care to ensure that individuals are protected, and we adhere fully to the Data Protection act 1998. Because of this we are very careful to ensure we do not share our Data regarding your property with anyone other than yourself.
What happens after my information/account is verified?
Following the verification of your information/account we shall be able to identify why we have contacted you specifically. We are constantly communicating with individuals who are eligible for differing types of funding. Following verification we shall be free to discuss your requirements and available solutions.
What happens if I am eligible for DECC funding?
We shall manage the necessary steps to ensure your installation proceeds. Due to shifting grant conditions, there are various ways in which the installation of Energy Saving improvements can be funded. We ensure you are able to access the contemporary funding streams relevant to your personal circumstances.
About Insulation Grants
Do I need a survey?
Yes. All cavity wall, loft, roof and solid wall insulation measures require a survey. There is no charge for the survey.
I live in a flat, am I still eligible?
Depending on the circumstances you should be eligible for insulation although you may need to get agreement by all of the adjoining properties especially for cavity wall insulation as the cavity is often shared with neighboring flats.
I rent my home, can I get a grant?
Usually yes. Most tenants are able to receive insulation grants so long as they have the landlord’s permission. Tenants of housing association and council properties are not usually able to apply for the grants as these are covered by other schemes.
Are the grants available in Northern Ireland?
No. The insulation grants are only available in England, Scotland and Wales. Similar schemes are offered in Northern Ireland by the Northern Ireland Sustainable Energy Programme.
Why do the energy companies provide this?
The big 6 energy companies are obliged by the Government to make UK homes more efficient by offering grants and incentives to households. If they fail to meet these targets they receive hefty fines.
Do I need to contact my current utility provider?
No. Different energy companies offer different schemes to different locations and to complicate things further they change as targets are assessed. There is no incentive for energy suppliers to help their existing customers, they are just required to offer funding.
Are there any extra costs?
There may be depending on the property. Items such as scaffolding and treatment of damp are not usually covered by the grants unless in extreme cases.
How long does it take?
The initial enquiry usually takes up to a week for a surveyor to contact you and make an appointment. From there the whole process usually takes about two weeks for the measures to be installed.
